Welcome to wololo (www.wololo.cc, "the site"). By using the site or playing its games, you agree to the terms below.
What the site offers
The site offers small games that run in your browser, along with design notes about how they were made. There are no accounts to create and nothing to pay for.
How you can use it
- Play as much as you like, and feel free to share links to the site.
- Quoting parts of the design notes is fine; please link back to the original.
- Please don't republish the games or whole articles on another site without permission.
- Please don't interfere with the site, for example by sending large volumes of automated requests, attacking the servers or trying to reach data that isn't public.
Who owns the content
The code, art, sound and writing on the site are made by wololo, and wololo owns the rights to them. Some games use internet memes as a theme; the rights to the memes themselves belong to their creators or rights holders.
If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, email us with the page and the part concerned, and we will look into it promptly.
Saves and records
Game settings, best scores and progress are kept in your own browser (see the privacy policy). If you clear your browser's site data or switch to another device or browser, they won't come with you, and we have no way to recover them.
A note on health
Take breaks during long sessions. Some games include flashes, screen shake or fast motion; if you are sensitive to visual stimulation, play with care and stop if you feel unwell.
Disclaimer
The site and its games are provided as is. We do our best to keep things running, but we can't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove games and articles at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from using, or being unable to use, the site.
Third-party services
The site runs on third-party services including Cloudflare, Railway and Google Fonts, each with its own terms and privacy policy. The privacy policy explains what data passes through them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
